ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heating and Cooling Engineer to join our team. As a Heating and Cooling Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems that meet the unique needs of our clients. You will work closely with our clients, project managers, and technicians to ensure the successful execution of projects from concept to completion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design HVAC systems for residential and commercial properties based on client requirements, building codes, and industry standards.

  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for HVAC projects.

  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems into building plans.

  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine heating and cooling requirements and identify potential challenges.

  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC equipment and systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and field technicians.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and regulations to ensure compliance and incorporate best practices into designs and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Heating and Cooling Engineer or HVAC Design Engineer.

  • Proficiency in HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, equipment, and systems.

  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and standards related to HVAC design and installation.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.

  • Experience with energy modeling and simulation software.

  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building certifications (e.g., LEED).

  • Previous experience in HVAC system commissioning and optimization.

  • Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and controls.
